Car Accident on ‘Trek’ set

Filming on the new ‘Trek’ film was going on today outside Bakersfield, Calif., when a car (apparently) crashed and somehow the accident involved a member of the film crew.
CHP confirmed later for an ABC affiliate that the filming near Highway 119 and Enos Lane was in fact for a “Star Trek” prequel.
While members of the crew have declined to comment at the scene, there were some unwanted special effects after a head-on crash on Highway 119 in front of the movie set.
The crash did not disrupt filming.
