Spring Show Moves to July
April 29, 2008 by vulkongoddess
Dear Vulkon Patrons (and my pals),
I’d like to put a stop to the rumor mill by officially announcing that due to irreconcilable differences between the Orlando Airport Marriott and us (the promoters)! We’ve had to reschedule the Orlando Spring Show from May 16-18 to July 18-20 2008. Those of you that were at our last Orlando event, know and understand. Apparently this hotel doesn’t seem to find its Customers very important. Unlike those of us at Vulkon who find our patrons the most important ingredient at ANY show (but especially Vulkon). There were many issues that we were unable to agree on. There were, also, some other personal issues that prevented us from holding this show. This in no way was the fault of our actors!
This has happened before (in Columbus) and we were known for STILL holding a fabulous show at a much better hotel!!! That’s the price you pay for having standards. We ARE having this Convention, we just need to push it back to July 18-20, 2008. We WILL be returning to a hotel that housed Vulkon events for nearly twenty years and all our fans have been requesting. Of course we thought that with this opportunity we should once again try to please our patrons.
I know this may be an inconvenience to a lot of you, but I am hoping you will understand and join us in July for a FABULOUS show. I WILL BE THERE and look forward to greeting each one of you. I invite every one of you to email me personally at terri [at] vulkon [dot] com, should you have any questions or problems. My family and staff are working double time to make this a memorable moment for each one of you. Complete details will be on website today. Reservations won’t be available until Wednesday, April 30, 2008.
As you would guess, all May Convention tickets will be valid for this July convention.
Lots of Hugs,
“Vulkon Mama” aka Terri Tripp
