Zoe Saldana Talks ‘Trek’ and Miniskirts

Forgetting for just a moment that in a strange and (some might say sick) way I’d totally do Nichelle Nichols (no disrespect meant whatsoever) it turns out that Zoe Saldana, the actress who is portraying Uhura in the retcon (ahem) I’m sorry . . . “re-imagined” Trek film, says she wasn’t a Trekkie before she got the role.
Unlike Pegg and Cho who say they’ve always been crazy fanboys. But finally Saldana spoke in an interview at Comingsoon.net.
