Turns out that Charlotte Gainsbourg (who was reportedly going to play Claire Danes “Kate” character from T3 now wife of John Conner) will in fact NOT be taking the role due to conflictions in scheduling She’s set to be in a French comedy and the alleged Actor’s Strike could possibly put a halt on that project for her. She doesn’t want to miss out on that opportunity.
Ferrigno To Voice Mean Grean

This just in…the original Incredible Hulk himself from the 1970’s TV show, Lou Ferrigno is now set to play the voice of the mean green machine now. Yes sir it’s true it seems that the guys over at MArvel have a sense of decency after all. I mean the cameo he had in “HULK” was disappointing at best. But this hopes to be something much grander.
TERMINATOR 4 CASTING UPDATE

Warner Bros., has sent out yet another “new” press release. What’s worth reporting is that there a several new casting tidbits reported, namely: Charlotte Gainsbourg, as Kate Connor, yes friends that WOULD indeed be the same Kate we were introduced to in T3 as Kate Brewster, played by Claire Danes. If you remember correctly Brewster was actually the one who sent the last terminator back in time to protect John, as Connor was said to have been assassinated on July 4th 2032 by a T-850. Judging by the character’s name, it appears that Kate and John have since gotten married.
DRAGONBALL MOVIE UPDATE

/Film has posted several new publicity stills from the film. Here are three of my favs. It looks to me like the film is shaping up nicely. It has always been a pipe dream for me actually. Although details about the film have been sketchy at best, it’s still up in the air whether this will be a DRAGONBALL or DRAGONBALL Z oriented story. Of course some feel that it’s going to be a completely original live action story with the characters being similar and that’s it.

Robert Downey Jr., star of the upcoming Jon Favreau IRON MAN movie, said in an interview recently that he’s aware that his personal history “resonates” with his character, millionaire playboy Tony Stark, who has his own history of substance abuse.

First let me start by saying that I don’t think Simon Pegg can do any wrong. To that end I submit exhibits A and B as “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” respectively…to say nothing of his newest flick “Run Fatboy Run!” Which I am dragging my poor wife to this weekend when it opens.

Ain’t It Cool News, has posted some waaaaay killer photo stills from the set of the new Trek film, apparently these images were taken from the set of a film that is being filmed under the title: CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS…so “why” points out AICN writer Quint, “…does it look suspiciously like Starfleet Academy?”
New Chekov is in T4

The Hollywood Reporter, reported that Anton Yelchin who plays a young Chekov in the new J.J. Abrams STAR TREK film is in negotiations to star as post-apocalyptic warrior Kyle Reese in T4 (which I still think is a far better name than Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.Yelchin will be playing a teen version of Reese, the man who fathered world savior John Connor in the original Terminator film, played by Michael Biehn.
