Torchwood star Burn Gorman has been confirmed in the role of Bill Sikes in the upcoming West End production of Lionel Bart’s Oliver!. Torchwood guest star Julian Bleach will also be appearing, as Mr Sowerberry. The production is due to open at London’s Theatre Royal Dury Lane in December.

The bad news: Creator and imaginarian, Russell T Davies will step down as executive producer of Doctor Who, the BBC announced today. Davies is credited with breathing new life into the show which he brought back to television in 2005.

Without the fun of the “Amok Time” theme music, Trek icon, William Shatner said in his new autobiography that he blames a bitter feud with fellow Star Trek star Leonard Nimoy for marring his time on the series. The actor, who shot to fame as Captain Kirk in the original 1960s TV show, states tensions built up between himself and Nimoy after the dueling pair indulged in a bout of verbal spats on set.

Well for a mediocre fan film I must say that I’m shocked that this series is getting this sort of treatment. It turns out that Slice Of Scifi has reported that the fan film STAR TREK FARRAGUT is getting its own version of the 1974 STAR TREK ANIMATED SERIES.
