Now explain to me how the 3rd and 4th person in a cabin works?
There are two issues with a 3rd and a 4th person in a cabin. The first issue is that the ship only has a limited number of cabins that support a 3rd or 4th person in a cabin. Carnival will not hold cabins for Vulkon that support 3 or 4 people. When everyone in a group has paid their deposit, Carnival will then assign a cabin that supports them. If there are not any cabins available when everyone has paid their deposits then we will give them the option to change to a different category,at the new rate, that we have left or they will be broken up into 2 cabins.
The second issue is that Carnival will only guarantee the rate for a 3rd or 4th in a cabin for a limited number of cabins in each type. So even if there is a cabin available that supports a 3rd or 4th person in a cabin, if Vulkon has used all of it’s allocation of 3rd or 4th in that category, we will have to charge you the current rate and not the negotiated Vulkon rate for the 3rd and 4th person in the cabin.
What does this mean? Well if you plan to go on the cruise and you want to have more than 2 people in your cabin, you need to get your deposit for everyone in the cabin as soon as possible. It is believed that Vulkon will first run out of negotiated 3rd and 4th rates, at which time we will have to charge you the new, higher rate. Then soon after, there just will not be any cabins that support 3 or 4 people.

I can bring along a non-SlayerCruise passenger: how does that work?
You will be able to have additional people with you on the cruise that have not paid for the convention part of the cruise. As a result they will not be able to attend any of the convention activities, SlayerCruise only shore tours, the pre-cruise gala, or participate in the photo session with the stars. Also if you want to sit with non-SlayerCruise passengers during dinner, you and your guests will not be able to sit with the actors.
-
This SlayerCruise is being held at the same time as a Seatrek, will I be able to go to both SlayerCruise and Seatrek events?
Anyone that holds a convention badge will be able to go to either SlayerCruise or Seatrek events, but seating priority will be given to those holding Seatrek badges for Seatrek events and to those holding Slayercruise badges for Slayercruise events.
-
Do you have child pricing?
Child pricing is the same as adult non-Slayer Partner pricing. They pay the 2nd, 3rd or 4th person pricing just as if they were an adult. However children under 12 will be allowed to participate in SlayerCruise events but they will not receive autographed pictures, keepsakes, or t-shirts.

Since we are leaving from and returning to the U.S., will I need a passport for the cruise?
Everyone going on the cruise will need a valid passport from their home country. While we leave and return to Miami, new U.S. regulations require that no matter how you leave the country you must have a passport. If you do not have a passport we recommend that you start the process as soon as you make your deposit. The process can take 10+ weeks to complete.

I read on the Carnival website that I can wait until the cruise to tip, why do I have to pre-pay?
Our negotiated rate includes pre-payment of tips for your cabin steward, waiter and head waiter. Tips for bar items are included in the bar bill at the time of purchase. At the end of the cruise you can go to the Purser’s Office and adjust the amount of the tips for each person to your liking.
-
I am a single and do not want to share a cabin with others, how much will I have to pay for the cruise?
Please contact us for an exact quote but in general you will need to pay one convention rate and one non-convention rate for your cabin less $400.

How can I get to sit with a star for dinner?
Seating assignments will work as follows: Once we receive your cruise payment in full, you will be added to the dinner seating priority list. The passengers highest on the dinner seating priority list will be able to sit with a star for the first four nights of the cruise. After the fourth night, we will rotate the seating, giving the next set of passengers highest on the dinner seating priority list the opportunity to sit with the stars for the remainder of the cruise. As we get closer to the sailing date, we will contact all of the passengers to request their star seating preference. Please be aware that the sooner you make your payment, the better the chance you have of sitting with the star of your choice. Also note that depending on the seating arrangements on the ship and on the number of stars on board, you may not be able to sit with a star at all. Also if you are part of a group the member of your group with the worst seating priority number is the seating priority number used for the group.
Your best bet is to get your cruise paid in full as soon as possible so get those payments in early!
PLEASE NOTE: Non-Slayer Partners will not be able to sit with a star. If you are a SlayerCruise Passenger traveling with a Non-Slayer Partner and you would like to sit with them, you must forfeit your seating priority and you will not sit with a star.

Why are the Seatrek prices for some room categories for non-trek partners more expensive than the prices that Carnival is charging?
There are two factors that go into the price difference. The first is that even for non-slayer partners, SlayerCruise does incur some cost associated with every passenger and therefore charges a nominal fee. The second reason is that Slayercruise cruise prices were locked in with Carnival when we signed the contract, however Carnival can change or lower their prices.

Can I purchase my cabin at a lower price and just pay the difference for the convention portion of the cruise?
The simple answer is no. Besides the money that Seatrek pays the cruise line, we also get credit and clout with the ship for every person that we bring. If a person were to book their own cruise, then they are not part of the group as far as the cruise line is concerned. For example, if we had 200 people on the cruise but 10 booked their own cabins, then the cruise line would only set aside 190 seats in the Seatrek portion of the dining room. The other 10 people would have to sit away from the Seatrek people in possibly a different dining room at a different time.
