When people think of truly memorable Klingon characters almost every list comes up with the Duras Sisters. Gwynyth Walsh plays the younger, yet controlling Duras Sister, B’Etor. Klingon clubs will rave when they see her at our July Summer Show in Orlando.
B’Etor was one of the Duras sisters who were responsible for the start of the Klingon Civil War. She was the younger sister, the more seductive and more volatile of the two. She and Lursa supported their nephew Toral as the new Chancellor of the Klingon High Council. Toral was the illegitimate son of their brother Duras. She staked Toral’s claim just as Jean-Luc Picard, who was the arbiter of succession, was about to pronounce Gowron as chancellor. In determining their claim, Picard went planetside and paid an invited visit to B’Etor and Lursa. B’Etor attempted to convince him that Toral’s challenge must be approved. B’Etor made a futile effort to seduce Picard. (TNG: “Redemption”)

We are proud to give every Klingon who has ever come to our shows EXACTLY what they want! MORE KLINGONS! Joining us this July as a bonus guest is talent actress Barbara March also known as Lursa of House Duras.
Lursa was the elder of the two Duras sisters who were responsible for the beginning of the Klingon Civil War. She was the mastermind behind her family’s fight to head the Empire. With the assistance of the Romulans, Lursa and her sister B’Etor plotted to install Toral, the illegitimate son of Duras, on the throne of the Klingon High Council. She attempted to persuade Jean-Luc Picard, who was the Arbiter of Succession, to find in favor of Toral. When Picard supported Gowron, she and her sister took up arms against Gowron. Their attempt was defeated when the Federation blockaded delivery of supplies from the Romulans. When the Romulan involvement was exposed, Lursa’s support evaporated. (TNG: “Redemption“, “Redemption II“)
