Casting: Chou in Wachowski Ninja Flick

SCIFI.com staff writer Mike Szymanski reported today that Matrix cast member Collin Chou, better known as the enigmatic Seraph from the Matrix films, will star as a lead (not necessarily THE lead) in a new Ninja film from Writer/Directors Larry and Andy Wachowski, who will produce but not direct.

Here’s an excerpt from the article:

“I don’t think I’m supposed to talk about it, but I am working with the Wachowski brothers next month, and I look forward to working with them again on a major movie,” Chou said in an interview at the Wizard World convention in Los Angeles over the weekend. “It will be in Berlin.” As for the film’s title, Chou said: “I don’t know if that’s the final name yet.”

Variety earlier reported that the film will be produced by Matrix producer Joel Silver and most likely will be directed by James McTeigue, who also helmed the Wachowski produced, V for Vendetta.
