TERMINATOR 4 CASTING UPDATE

Warner Bros., has sent out yet another “new” press release. What’s worth reporting is that there a several new casting tidbits reported, namely: Charlotte Gainsbourg, as Kate Connor, yes friends that WOULD indeed be the same Kate we were introduced to in T3 as Kate Brewster, played by Claire Danes. If you remember correctly Brewster was actually the one who sent the last terminator back in time to protect John, as Connor was said to have been assassinated on July 4th 2032 by a T-850. Judging by the character’s name, it appears that Kate and John have since gotten married.

Ok -I’m not sure how enthusiastic I am. I mean ‘yes’ there are some serious artists on this soundtrack but in truth, what are we the fans interested in? The score right? It’s like when Warner Bros. put out the soundtrack to the first Batman movie. Did we get any of the over-the-top-and-in-your-face Danny Elfman stuff? Of course not! We got Prince’s Bat Dance.

Stephen Furst has starred in many motion pictures and television series. Beginning with the smash hit comedy classic, National Lampoon’s ANIMAL HOUSE, where he starred as the lovable yet bumbling fraternity freshman, Flounder.He then hung up his doctor scrubs and donned a special hair-do, eyebrows, and teeth to play the character of Vir, in the Warner Bros. Science fiction hit BABYLON 5.
